What We Have Done This Year
- This year we have helped people in need by email, phone and mail every week.
- We reversed a law that took away your right to not hire a funeral director.
- We improved all aspect of our service by improving our literature, website, and presentations to groups.
- We facilitated the formation of a Home Funeral Committee in Orem.
- We have decided to pursue fighting the rise in unfair Health Dept costs for citizen Dispositioners.
How We Use Your Money
Memberships and donations help both the local and National offices continue to serve you.
FCA of Utah is made up of all unpaid volunteers. Our costs average about $600/yr (advertizing, paper, toner, stamps, web presence). We are reducing our budget this year while at the same time hoping to increase donations so we can:
- Not have volunteers fund our $400/yr deficit and
- Send the national FCA office more than the minimum dues of $50. National is the lifeblood of this organization and we can't express enough appreciation for all that they do for us and the citizens of this nation. Our National Executive Director is a hard working wonderful leader and spokesperson, receives only a modest salary and works with a staff of one full time and one part time employee.
